DISCLAIMER!!!
WARNING!!!!! This story includes graphic scenes of Stars! mayhem, betrayal, death and destruction not to mention a few curse words. Those of you who think that such scenes are offensive, read no further and go to Disney. The author will not accept responsibility for any damage to frail nerved readers. The author will also not accept lawsuits concerning ANY aspect of the story. Characters in the story are purely fictional and any similarity to person both dead or living is merely coincidental. If you look at some of the character's faces (watch for the hyperlinks! - The Keeper) they will look familier. Its no surprise. They are actors/actresses that I consider to be a good fit for the story's characters. All this is of course based on my own opinion.
Certain sections of the story can become rather confusing especially when the characters start speaking to each other. Just one rule, when a character speaks, his/her words are indented one tab to the left and located all on one paragraph no matter how long it gets. Once another paragraph begins, another character is talking. To help out further, some sections of the story are written in Script form when characters speak to one another. The following list contains abbreviations of characters that identify them as doing the talking. Hope this helps:
PC- Prince Conner
TH- Colonel Tara Hunter
PMD- Prime Minister Drummond
AC- Admiral Wallace Cole
EB- Dr. Everton Barrett
WB- Dr. Wyman Bressler
DM- Douglas McCann
SA- Sonia Aversa
VD- Major Victor Dubravko
KB- Kendell Bishop
There are certain "items" found in this story that do NOT exist in the Stars! Game. Just in case someone wanted to point out possible mistakes, I have made a list of such occurrences:
The planet of Avalon and New Vegas Orbiting Casino do not exist in Stars!
The Long Bow Class Inter-Steller Passenger Liner does not exist in Stars!
In the chaotic world called my brain, mining colonies ARE inhabited by humans. Miners to be exact. Since mining is done only on planets that are unsuitable for colonization, mining colonies are located deep underground with large port facilities built into them.
There are asteroid fields to hide in.
There are Mass Driver before the year 2400. In fact if you are observant, you will notice some weapons technology that cannot yet exist in the year mentioned.
Population limits on planet are much larger. Not to bad mouth Stars! But I think its rather ludicrous for a planet's maximum population to be only a million (in most cases).
Time is a little shorter in this story. Instead of travel time being years, its been changed into days.
